To reflect the quantity of work required by the course; to bring the number of credits in the creative writing concentration in line with the number in the other English major concentrations.

There will be no change in the description of the course, since it does not specify # of pages to be produced.  However the Creative Writing faculty says:  “In decreasing the required credit of the Capstone course 4890, we will decrease the required page length for the final portfolio.  The four-hour credit course required a forty page portfolio; the three-credit hour course will now require thirty pages.”    
What is to be done remains the same; however the quantity of work to be accomplished is less.
